2.4TW uses the V tube and straight boom common to the Kitewing frame system. Battens are common with the SK821 skate sail and the Skimbat skate sail. The V tube can be rigged with a single straight boom or with the same Y tubes and curved boom common with the Kitewing frame system. When the frame is rigged with the single boom there is more dihedral, with Y tubes, more sweep or rake. Y tubes add a pound.
Y tubes and curved carbon boom are an accessory which is not part of the standard 2.4 TW package.
RBS fiberglass battens are standard. Aluminum battens can be purchased and used as well.
Center batten tuning is precise. Tack tensioner influences the bend at the front of the batten while the camber inducer affects the trailing part of the batten. Trim from full to flat to suit conditions.
